It's all about the inside
The BODY WORLDS Amsterdam exhibitions have undergone significant changes over the years. From the consequences of health, sports and nutrition to the anatomy of animals, BODY WORLDS Amsterdam has reinvented itself time and time again, and continues to teach people new things by looking under the skin.
The exhibitions are the creation of Dr. Gunther von Hagens, who invented the process of plastination at the University of Heidelberg in 1977. The original exhibits have been the subject of imitation by countless copycats, but they remain unrivaled in terms of quality and innovation.
The current theme in Amsterdam is the Happiness Project and focuses on the effects of happiness on our well-being. This exhibition consists of more than 200 anatomical specimens of real human bodies, which will give you a better insight into how our mood can influence our health and vice versa.
