A cruise through the National Park de Biesbosch. We depart from Drimmelen, this is located next to Europe's largest-buried marina. In recent years, major changes have been made to projects of 'space for the river' combined with nature development. There were former agricultural polders returned to nature. Because these polders are used as landfills for the Meuse and Waal, these polders are partly submerged. This attracts many beautiful birds!
Partly due to the low depths, the ships were specially built to sail through this area. The comfortable boats are heated and equipped with toilet facilities, bar and unique panorama deck. This offers the opportunity to look up to miles far over the polar dams.
During the two-hour trip from Drimmelen the entire area is crossed. The skipper will tell you something about what you see on the way.
On board is a bar for a snack and a drink.
